Events Diary for 2013 now available

Dundee Museum of Transport will be attending twelve events throughout 2013. Look out for our banner, trailer and vehicle displays.

We will also be launching a Running Day at our temporary Market Mews premises that will take place on Sunday 21 April 2013. Hopefully this could become an annual event if successful.

Temporary premises update: February 2013

Despite the cold weather work has continued apace on our temporary premises at Market Mews, Dundee.

The painting of the front exhibition hall is almost complete, the cafe area has been painted and carpeted, toilets have been installed and the boardroom fitted out.

Annual General Meeting 2013

Notice is hereby given that the Dundee Museum of Transport Annual General Meeting will take place within its premises at Market Mews, Brought Ferry Road, Dundee on Saturday 2 March 2013 commencing at 11am.

Dundee Museum of Transport registered as a charity in Scotland, number SC041529, in June 2010. Since then we have been working very hard to establish a museum in Dundee to showcase our local hidden transport heritage.

We have been very fortunate to receive a number of grants for which we are very grateful. However you can also make a donation to help us with our project by visiting our Donate page.

We're working hard to open in early 2013

Following our recent plea for volunteers to help prepare our temporary premises in Market Mews - see this post - work is now progressing at a rapid rate.

However the more helpers we have the quicker we can open to the public so if you can help please get in touch through our contact page.

We have added a page to our recently updated website tracking the progress made at Market Mews. This will be updated regularly with photographs of the work done by our amazing team of volunteers - click here to see the work done so far.

We are hoping to open to the public early in 2013 so please keep checking back for all the latest news.
